I cant put pictures on my mp3 player

Question

for some reason i cant figure out for the life of me how to put pictures on myphillips gogear 30gb mp3 player, it says it supports picture files and when i "put" them on the device it says they have been synced to my device but they dont show up. i cant even take off the sample pictures that came with it. any idea would be appreciated, thank you.black on the front and silver on the back
