  1. usually when you are forced to wake up...alarm clock, sun, your mom...it disrupts your natural sleep cycle and it is alot more difficult ot remember the dream.

its a chance thing, sometimes i will randomly be driving to work in the morning and will trigger my dream from the night before...or from two years ago...the mind is a crazy thing...just on the weekends go to bed when you are tired and sleep the whole night through with no interuptions...and when you wake up in the morning lay in bed for a little while and relax and it might come to you.

  2. I have vivid wild dreams every night, (mostly night terrors) the best thing to do is put a notebook and pen next to your bed and make sure you write down anything you can remember on it before you wipe the poo from your eyes.  You will eventually learn to remember them better.

  3. quality of sleep, deep sleep is needed to remember,

but you dream about 7 dreams a night, thats why its so hard to remeber them,

  4. You might just be used to not trying to remember them that as soon as you wake up, you forget them.

Somebody told me that you only remember the dreams that have an importance in your life. Like, if you are supposed to take something you learned from that dream and bring it into your real life, you will remember it (or at least that part of the dream).

  5. When you wake up suddenly from an alarm, for example, your body instantly goes into daytime mode.  you forget your dreams because your mind does not have the time to process the memories from dream mode to real mode. (if that makes sense?)

On a weekend, sleep in if you can until you naturally wake up and I think you'll find you can remember your dreams more vividly.

  6. ok this is why:

while you sleep there is a period of R.E.M. that last for few minutes.

R.E.M. [rapid eye movement] is the stage in which you dream.

if you remeber your dream that means you woke up sometime within that stage.

if you dont that means you slept soundly through it.

adults normally dont dream cause they are well rested and are worried that if they dont get enough sleep they will be tired so they try to hard to get enough sleep.

    your welcome for my answer.

    and its true you know.

you better believe it or else.

  7. how do you know you are having dreams if you can not remember them?

  8. The average person really only remembers 2 dreams over the course of a week, maybe even a month.

Some people (like me) just happen to be able to recall what they dream, perhaps because the REM sleep is not deep enough, very artificial, allowing the mind to be pulled out a still have a memory of it

But don't fret if you can't remember them. Dreams are thrown away by the mind, subconciously, deemed as useless information, and really just the minds way of being active even when we are asleep. It's like doodling on a post-it note while on the phone, and then throwing it out right after. It's nothing great, and its really just a clutter

  9. First, you have to know that there are angels specialized for dreams and what happens is that they control what kind of dreams someone should have except the evil ones; they're said to be from the devil and his allies. So if you forget a dream, it's either not important at all to interpretation, or that you're not wanted to know or remember that dream for some unknown reasons and that is said to be good for the person.

  10. what i do is i tell myself that i want to remember my dreams tonight for a long time, and then i focus on what i want to dream about in my mind. With this you can even enter a lucid dream and control your actions, which is pretty cool. Also keep a dream notebook on your nightstand

    :)

  11. This is because dreams are sort of a pigment of your imagination that is just at a resting period and this sort of lets out all of your thoughts. Sometimes you can't remember them because when using your imagination at during a resting period then sometime the thoughts in your brain get lost when your brain in a way reboots itself when you wake.
