I tried to take my contacts out when I got home and I got the left one out, but could not see the lining in my right eye. I didn't feel it in there, I had people look in my eye to see if it was there and no one else saw it. So My question is; can a contact be in your eye without you feeling it in there. Im working on getting to an appt so I can see whats going on. Please help. any information would be appreciated.

  1. Are you sure it hasn't dropped out? Maybe it isn't there anymore. But it could be that it had rolled to the back of your eye too. Does your eye hurt or feel uncomfortable at all?

  2. if you cant feel it then its probably not there. It probably fell off or something.

  3. Are you able to see well with that eye? Do you have any discomfort? It's possible that your contact has fallen out or it could be possibly somewhat stuck to your eye. You can try to put some eye drops in your eyes to see if it helps it come out, or to see if you can feel it. Good luck, if you aren't able to find it and you think it's still in there then go ahead and get into your eye doctor so they can figure out what is going on.

  4. is your eye sight bad? you would know that way, more then likey its going to hurt if its in wrong.

if you blink alot and then look up and try and take it out that helps if its still in there

  5. you sure it didn't fall out or if its in the back of your eye?

  6. if you can see clearly its there. if you can't its not. no big deal if it fell out just don't even bother looking for it, go get some more.

  7. Yeah, contacts these days are supposed to be so that you can't feel them.

  8. It's possible it fell out without you feeling it.  Maybe you scracthed your eye with your hand and pushed it out.  If you're positive that it isn't over your eyeball, aka you can't see, then check the corner of your eye, but don't pull if you're not sure.  I know it's easier said than done, but let your eye alone for a day and see if it's still agitated.  If you continualy snag at your eye it will stay agitated and you won't know if there is a contact in there or not.  Just my opinion because I wear contacts, and I know they can flop out if I rub my eyes.  If you still aren't sure, an eye appt can't hurt.

  9. it probably fell out. but i could still be in your eye. i got mine stuck before. check your eyelid.

  10. its fallen off silly. or in one of those rare cases your eyes  scared of losing its new found visibilty  attached itself to it permanantly.

  11. It might be misplaced and it might be like at the bottom of ur eye or something

  12. If you can't feel it or see it, it's probably not in there.  It CANNOT get into the back of your eye because there is a layer over your eye that connects to your eyelids, preventing anything from getting back there.  I wouldn't worry about it too much. :)

  13. Don't freak... but it might've rolled to the back of your eye

  14. YOUR CONTACT MIGHT BE UNDERNEATH YOUR EYELID.  THERE ISN'T A WAY THAT IT CAN GO BEHIND YOUR EYEBALL SO DON'T WORRY!! YOU REALLY CAN'T FEEL THEM BUT JUST BE CAREFUL IF YOUR EYE DOESN'T START TURNING RED OR GETTING INFECTED THEN YOU REALLY NEED TO GO TO YOUR DR.
