I cant seem to find a good jumping horse for sale in my area

Question

my mom said my horse cant be too tall so he has to be 15-16 hands he has to be less than $8000 dollars. and since i want a jumping horse the horse has to be already jumping at least small jumps, but m their are no horses that can jump that are within thirty minutes from me and my mom says that the horse has to be between the ages of 7 and 10.. all the hose that can jump here (which are a few) are too young or too old for my moms standards.. what should i do o and im near pleasant hill if anyone wants to try to help me find a horse for sale

on the web you can search Dreamhorse.com, or search horse ads under USET.org online.  These sites may let you choose a state and what kind of horse you are looking for.  I like to read lots of them before I look just in my area to get an idea whats out there.  30 minutes from home is pertty strick I'd negotiate for a larger search area.

I had the same problem for 2 years except my price limit was $3000. I was just about to give up. If you ride at a local stable they will most likley have horses for sale. I have been riding for 4.5 years and just recieved my first horse. I think that you should belong to a stable. I was like you and always thought I would get a horse from you know dreamhorse or other websites but no. I found my Gelding at my barn. I already knew him and my instructor had already approved him.

Dont give up because the minute you do, you will find your horse!!

I know it sounds impossible but its not....anything is possible!!

Limiting yourself to within 30 minutes is a bit....insane.

I'm also a bit worried that you keep saying 'jumping horse' - generally people that have been riding long enough to have any business jumping know that they're looking for H/J, jumper, etc. Jumping horse sounds like what a raw beginner would say.

Why don't you let your Mom and your trainer look for you?
