I cant seem to get my lil iguana to eat

i have had past iguana exp hes been in a large cage but keeps excaping due to lid when i hade my first igi he was in a 10 gal for only a couple weeks and eat very good then went to a cage the length and with of a full size house door and about 4 feet tall but my new one only seems to eat when i hold him and he trys to bit i slip ina few pieces of food ? any tips

He probably not eating due to stress from a new environment also bigger cages are harder to keep at an acceptable temperature be sure to mist it when you can idk what kind of climate you live in so it might be harder or easier depending on where you are. also if his head is in a darker color than usual he is stressed i think there are some sprays you can get to help with this. if it is a small iguana and hasn't eaten in a while buy some baby food and use a small baster or even a straw and feed it like that till it feels better. giving it a bath in tepid water will help digestion and hydrate it well is u have anymore problems i'll ask my bf again here is my email [e-mail] ^^ not many ppl no about iguanas sorrie he typed slow hopefully u get help in time
