hmm. im trying to decide what i wanna do when im older but i just don't know. i want to do something fun and/or challenging but makes good income. something more like a doctor as opposed to a waitress or something..

i was thinking for a while and i really like the idea of a surgeon or a pediatric specialist. or a dermatologist.

however, i want to travel a lot or do something fun! i wanna do something with dolphins or sea life. i think it would be awesome to be like an oceanographer or something. haha or a traveling dolphin surgeon. lol :) j/k.

but do you have any ideas for a career that is challenging and/or fun and makes a good income? thanks :)

  1. i have the same problem lol i'm not sure what i want to do. but i'm thinking that if whatever your meant to do is supposed to happen .. then it'll happen. i guess whenever the time is right you'll know.

  2. Just so you know - doctors travel all over the world for continuing education throughout their careers.  My uncle is a radiologist, and through his work he has traveled on business expenses to Hawaii, China, Scotland, Bora Bora, and the Czech Republic, just in the last 7 years or so.  He spends one or two days in seminars and classes, and the rest of the week seeing the sights.

  3. Well I can tell you right now being a surgeon is not fun, neither is being a pediatric specialist. Those make good income but there's nothing fun with being surrounded by sick people and children so if you want fun I don't think a doctor would be the proper profession.

  4. How about a Marine Biologist?

  5. it sounds to me like you want the wealth that comes with being a surgeon/doctor, but what you truly enjoy is animals and sealife.

check out the salaries of jobs in that profession and see if they will accomodate the life you plan to have.

i think i would rather be doing something i love and getting by with the money i get, instead of being rich but hating my job.
