  1. get camomile tea, it really helps. i used to have the same problem too.

or exercise in the day, it helps you to sleep since you're naturally tired.

  2. Start to pray.  or take some sleeping pills they work too.

  3. What's wrong with you? you just said, you can' sleep. wake up earlier.

  4. I have the same problem...It's insomnia.  I went to see a doctor and got prescribed some sleep medication.  Not any that are advertised on TV though like Ambien or anything like that.  Try going to your local food store, Kroger, Ralph's, Food 4 Less, Jon's, Von's, Wal-Mart, any of those place's would have over the counter sleep medication like Melatonin which is very safe and it is what the body produces to help you naturally sleep.  If that does not work.  Go to your doctor and see if you can get prescribed some sleep medication.

  5. just go to bed and lay with your eyes closed

  6. lol me too thast why im here to answer this, but ive always been like this since i was young, i work construction so i get weeks off here and there and i ruin my sleeping pattern but when its time to get back to work 2 nights before hand i set my alarm for hours earlier then i wake up after a night of staying up way to late and force myself to get out of bed, no naps during the day and staying fairly active ill be so tired by the time 10 or 11 rolls around that i pass right out, the next day wake up an hour earlier wether it be 5 or 6 am and just make sure i stay up the entire day and evening so by the time ngiht comes i fal asleep nice and early and i wake up without a clock for work the next day

  7. i have the same problem, but i wont fall asleep until 6 or 9 am. youjust have to make yourself busier throught the day to tire your body out.

  8. Although sleeping pills can be a good short term solution, you need to think about the long-term. As another user suggested, if you use the computer or watch television before going to bed, it can sometimes affect your ability to fall asleep. My first suggestion is to stop watching the television and/or using the computer about 30 minutes to 1 hour before going to bed. Consider reading instead. Do not read work-related items however, you need to clear your head and relax, read something you will really enjoy. Second, you can try deep breathing exercises to help you relax. What you do is take a slow deep breath through your nose (try and breathe from your diaphragm), hold it in and count to three, then slowly release through your mouth. Repeat this a few times as needed. Lastly, make sure you are going to bed and waking up at around the same time everyday or at least as close to the same time as possible. If none of these suggestions help, then contact your doctor and he or she can help you find out if there is a medical reason for your sleep troubles. I hope this helps.

  9. maybe you have insomnia

  10. Are you on the computer or using a TV late at night?  There have been studies showing that the bright lights of both can keep you from falling asleep.  My suggestion is to drink some chamomile tea when you want to go to bed and read a boring book.

  11. smoke some weed...it makes you sleepy after you eat :)

    or..

stay up all night one night, then take a nap around 12 till whenever the next day. then see if you can go to bed on a normal schuduale.

    ORRRRR

go to the doctor for some sleeping pills.

  12. well if you are sleeping well then i suggest turn off the lights and lay in bed, if you don't use noise try it like a fan's constant hum or a cd that plays rain noises. or you can pick a day where you don't have to do anything and stay up all night and all day and you'll be tired by the time you want to go to bed.

  13. get out more! probably havent been out much.

  14. You don't say how old you are but when I started going Through menopausese I started waking up all the time.  That and a combination of a teenager having trouble at school with bullying.  Anxiety and Stress are the main causes of not sleeping I think.  Go to the library and get your self some talking books.  I find a female voice relaxing and because I'm listening to it and my mind is not concertrating on sleeping and i seem to fall asleep before the CD or tape ends.  They have some great books! Have just finished listeneing to Jacki Weavers audio biog called "Much Luv Jac" which was fasanating and after hearing that I thought WOW Im not so bad after all maybe even a bit normal!!

  15. Probably nothing bad... Your body has just gotten used to being on that schedule... It happens to me... It started in the summers when I was a teenager because I didnt have to get up for school. Now I do it because I work from 3 - 11 pm and I can't sleep as soon as I get home. Yikes, I was never really a morning person either!!!

What works really good is just staying awake one night & not sleeping... That way, the next night, you will be sooo tired and it will be easier to plan to fall asleep at the time you want.

Other than that, I would suggest maybe trying to go to sleep about 10 minutes earlier every night. Just try laying in bed & watching the most boring thing you can find on TV... usually i fall right off to sleep if i put the news on. I have a very active mind... I worry & think about everything... That's why I sleep with the TV on too, to distract my mind from getting carried away.

If nothing else works, try taking 2 Tylenol PM's about an hour before you want to go to sleep. It'll probably knock you right out. Take it with something soothing like some herbal tea. ...and Tylenol PM is *not* addictive (some people on here say it is)... The thing in it that makes you sleep is just diphenhydramine, otherwise known as Benadryl. Take it an hour before bedtime for about a week, then your body should be used to that sleep cycle and you should be able to fall asleep at a normal time without it.

    I hope I helped!!!

  16. i had the same problem until i decided to stay up all night and day, i was basically whiped out and ready to go to sleep around 8pm the next day and then that made my sleep schedule normal again, just try your best not to fall asleep during the day
