  1. You should restart your sleep routine.

    1. Eat a cracker and a slice of turkey before you plan to go to bed. The turkey has tryptophan a compound that makes us sleepy. It's the reason we all want to go to sleep after Thanksgiving dinner.

    2. Drink chamomile tea

    3. Stretch your neck and back very gently and slowly about a half an hour before sleep time

    4. Take a warm bath. It soothes you and prepares you for sleep.

  2. this could be of many things your age female stuff and things on your mind things that may help

talk with someone you trust this might help the mind rest

read a book a good one

have a milky drink about 2 hours prior to bed time

do some light exercise 2-3 hours to going to bed

have a nice relaxing bath listen to relaxation music

and most of all if it continues see your doctor

    have your sugars checked

    good luck

  3. I have insomnia. have had it for a long time. the thing that lets me sleep when i need to is i exercise my butt off until im super tired. i calm down with a long hot shower, and by the time im on the bed, theres no possible way i can keep my eyes open

  4. I regularly suffer from insomnia too and I understand how frustrating it is.  Your type of insomnia appears to be sleep-onset insomnia, which is difficulty falling asleep. If you don't feel like consulting a physician for a mild sleeping pill or to find out whether stress is involved (insomnia might merely be a symptom of something more complex, and it's really difficult to fall asleep when your mind is busy), there are some indications which may help. First of all, I would strongly advise no computer anywhere near sleep time. No caffeine (remember that tea is a stimulant too) either of course. Warm milk is supposed to help, as is a bath. Don't be too sedentary during the day: take a good walk if you can, even if you're feeling a bit tired.

My experience is, insomnia can be really frustrating and sometimes you just can't win, but the good news is, it's almost always just a short phase, and a night will soon come when you'll fall asleep easily, sleep a good many hours in a row, and it will all be over.

    Best of luck!
