Right now im 17 and my boyfriend (18 in August) lives in New Zealand. Hes coming to see me in December because he has family in California.(I live in New York). IM going to see him in New Zealand next year. The only problem is when I look up certain all inclusive packages online like flight hotel and car or just flight and hotel. They wont show it for just me. They said I'm a child. But i turn 18 in February and I'm going in like June so I will have been 18 already. How com 18 is still a child? Will they still let me go alone? How come friggin you can do anything at 18 but i cant fly alone? What the h**l. I dont want anyone to come wit me, its already expensive and its just supposed to be me and my boyfriend. Is there anything I can do. Can I still go even tho?

  1. because you not a aeroplane.you ride your family ,your boyfriend, and yourself in aeroplane

  2. you can still go, but you will have to have someone else buy the ticket for you if you are only 17.

  3. You can go, but I believe you have to have an adult at the airport to sign you in. I'm 16 and I fly from Michigan to LA to see my dad and my parents have to be at the airport, but I can fly alone

  4. Yeah... they should let you. I mean I went to London by myself when I was 13 and I wasn't even in that special "alone kids" section. You need someone older to look at the flights for you then and then buy the ticket for you in YOUR name of course. Call the airline to make sure they won't be jerks when you get there.

Also if that doesn't work out try a flight booking agency (i.e. one of those places in the mall that sells plane tickets).
