I cant type on my computer =[?

Question

Everytime i type a letter like y or e or r it acts like a shortcut. No matter what application I am in it bring up different things. Does anyone know what i can do to fix this problem please help.

Is one of your keys stuck? I spilled soda on my keyboard once, and the control key would stick, and it did the same thing you're talking about. It might not be visibly stuck down, but there may be a bad trace or something similar in the keyboard itself.

So... if possible, you can try restarting your computer. Whenever I got a glitch, that usually solved it.Or, if that doesn't work, why not try to buy a new keyboard; you can get a good one for ten bucks right now.

Try a friend keyboard if it works OK you know your keyboard is faulty and not the computer

if it is faulty you can spend more money to fix it than buying a new one

If it is the computer run scan disk it could be your system file are faulty

anyway u should go to My Computer icon on your desktop and see what the problem is. if that doesnt work, call up a computer genius like the Geek Squad. you could also ask your mom... lol jk. gl
