I cant use my internet to search

i have a problem with my internet. I have firefox. when i open up firefox it goes to my yahoo page but i cant search or even use my address bar. I can click on some sites and it would open like netflix or news . i know i;m connected since it goes to some of the site.

Try the slower ie,either that or check for security problems or parent controls.

I have been having problems with Safari but Firefox is working fine. I open multiple windows so I can keep my email, my Yahoo Answers, and one more window to search for answers.
