mr smith baked a batch of biscuits fir her five grandchildren they were so hungry that they ate the entire batch before the biscuits cooled.the grandchildren shared the biscuits equally.mrs smith wanted to make sure there enough biscuits left for mr smith so she baked a second batch twice as big as the first one each grachild ate six biscuits from the second batch mr smith put away the remaining 2/5 of the batch for their grandfather how manybiscuits did each grandchild eat altoghther

    of the second batch the kids ate 30 biscuits altogether which is 3/5 of the total number.. that would make the second batch 50 biscuits.  the first batch was half that.. so they ate 25 then another 30....

  3. each grandchild ate 11 biscuits

    the second batch was 50 biscuits if each of 5 children ate 6 5x6=30 30=3/5 of 50

    the initial batch was 25 biscuits 1/2 of second batch

    25 divided equally among 5 grandchildren is 5 biscuits each

    5 biscuits from first batch plus 6 biscuits from second batch is 11 biscuits/batch/kid or 55 biscuits total.

  4. Sad, daneen did the math correct but missed the Question.  Each child ate 11 biscuits.  five of the first batch and six from the second batch,  assuming they shared the first batch equally.  If not, they averaged, 11 each.
