I care too much about what people think of me? How can I fix this?

  1. if people say something bad about you just ignore them


  2. before you fix it, you need to understand it.  ask yourself why do i care about what others think of me and then ask why to all of your answers.  i think you'll find out eventually that you care about what others think of you because you've falsely learned through social pressures what is right and wrong and you try to do thinks according to them.  once you understand the why, you'll realize how stupid it is and i think you'll be able to change

How much time do you actually spend thinking about others in a way that, if they knew, it would make them self-conscious?  ( A judgemental way )  Probably next to nil.... right?  Try to remind yourself that everybody else is just as preoccupied with what people think of THEM and they DON"T think about you.   You wouldn't worry so much about what people thought about you if you realized how little they did.

  4. thre is no easy way to fix it...the only way to fix it is by gaining self confidence. just remember the only people that count are the ones who love you for who you are.

Take a long look at yourself and try to figure out what you think is wrong with you.  After you figure out that there's really nothing wrong with you then you should start looking at the people that you worry about not liking you and decide what you think is wrong with them.  You might find that we're all in the same boat on this earth and what you think about yourself is all that matters.

  7. generally I find I feel this way when I don't have a high opinion of myself.  Try working on that.  I mean a little bit of caring about other's good opinion is good, but it shouldn't stop you from having a good day.

  8. You don't need any type of medication etc. to change the way you feel. It can change when you tape into and check with it & live life with the logical part of your brain. Know they have the same thoughts. Especially  best looking, richest,smart people. It's some thing they have to work at it all the time to keep it going. So just be your true self. Let them do all that stressing out. And smile to your self.

    Find your inner peace (the love you have for you as the person you are)! I wish you all posative thoughts ; sending you down the path of the light. Leaveing the dark path that makes life so unhappy.

  9. It's a personality trait that you're stuck with.  Once you accept it and recognize you have it, you can work at it.

  10. Dont care about what other people think about you. Just be YOU! if they like you for who you are, great! if they don't, then ohh well! you can do better than them anyways. Be who you want to be, not what others want to see. I don't know about you, but i'd rather be disliked for who i am than to be liked for what i'm not. What people think shouldn't matter to you. Let them think whatever they want, once they see it doesn't get to you they'll stop doing/sayin whatever they were doing or saying.
