I catch my tongue barbel ball on my teeth when I chew.?

it is only 6 days old & not healed yet, but will I ever learn to eat without this issue? anybody else had issues with teeth hitting/pulling barbel when chewing?

Why did you get such a thing in the first place?  It's not cool..It is not some sort of sexual advantage for your boyfriend..I have had it both ways..Way over-rated.

I too had my tongue pierced when i was younger and after becoming a dental nurse in  2000 i saw the damage they can cause within the oral cavity, including my own chipped incisors.

as it heals, you should have it changed to a smaller bar.

you should have a long bar in now, to allow the tongue to swell

the smaller ones are easier to eat and talk with
