I caught 2 neighbor kids breaking into the empty house next door?

Well it was the shed,the cops won't tell them who did it will they?

Why would you call the cops on two kids breaking into an empty shed that is not even yours?  Seriously, now?  Why not just tell their parents if you feel bold enough to call the cops.

It depends on what information you gave to the reporting authority. If charges are pressed against the kids and the cops didn't see it themselves you may be called as a witness.

Otherwise they probably won't give your identity away.
