  1. I love'em filleted and fried, but the baking would be a good change of pace to try.

  2. A good recipe for the oven and when camping you can do it right on the coals is:

    Slice 2 ribs of  Celery

    dice 1 large carrot

    Slice 1 large Sweet Onion

Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, and some spicy seasoning

    Butter

Foil, 2 long strips laid cross ways.

Wash and pat filets dry, Season well,

Place vegtables on middle of foil, season, Dot with small chunks of butter (about a tablespoon), lay Filets on top, Wrap Foil bringing two sides up and sealing then the other too allowing a little space for steam.

Bake at 350 degree preheated oven about 30 minutes.

    YUMMMM...

    Enjoy

  3. pan fry them with breading and old bay

put alittle olive oil in the bottom off the pan and bread each fillet with a breading and fry them up. sprinkle old bay on them and squeeze some lemon on them

  4. cut off all the skin and guts put it in tin foil with some mayo and cook it on the grill

  5. I generally don't like the taste of Bass. I'd perfer to catch and release bass but I don't blame people who eat them. I'd definately pan fry them. Soak them in some salt water for awhile (some people soak fish in milk and onions if it's too fishy tasting of a meat). Fry Krisp is a good seasoned breading to use and easy to find in any stores. You can add some Cayanne pepper or red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the batter mix if you like a little zest. Dip the fillets in an egg/water mix and shake in a bag of krisp and fry. Happy eating.

  6. bluegill taste much better.

But i would filet them and then release all future catches.
