I caught some grasshoppers?

Question

to feed my tree frogs, one of them has little red things on it's back up where the wings attach, they kind of look like aphids but they are a little bigger, anyone know what the might be?

It is a red mite (Eutrombidium locustarum), which parasitizes grasshoppers.  You can read more about them here:
