I caugt my 14 year old sister having s*x!?

Im 13 and my sister and her boyfriend are in the 9th grade. it happend yesterday after school. my parents were at work and my older brother went out with his friends. I usually hang out with my friends after school too but i usually go home first to drop off my backpack off. when i got home i heard these noises coming from upstairs so when i went up stairs i saw my sister having in bed with her boyfriend.i closed the door and ran downstairs. a couple minutes later my sister and her boyfriend came downstairs and told me not to tell any1 and they both left after that. what should i do? should i tell on her or not?

This is for the best interest of her sister. being a true sister is doing the hard thing and telling. sometimes the right thing isn't always the easiest and no matter how much you try to justify not telling, it's the wrong thing to do. period.

Maybe, in a sisterly way, you could offer her some help.  Make sure she's using birth control, take her to Planned Parenthood, where you only have to be 14 to get treatment w/o an adult.  Turn it into a positive experience for you both.  I don't know if you're active as well, but maybe you should check it out too.  Also, have a talk with her boyfriend, I don't care how much you embarrass him!

Considering she's kinda young, I think your parents should know. Hopefully they've already been open and honest with her about s*x and she's doing it well informed and using protection.

At the same time, it could hurt the trust between you and your sister, but if you are worried about her well being eventually she'll understand and forgive you. You could alway not tell your parents and maybe help them to find out their own. You could leave a condom wrapper somewhere conspicuous, or if you are somewhere with your parents and you know your sister is home alone (or probably with her boyfriend) suddenly have to go home for something, and they can maybe hear some noises and catch them...

I personally think you have two options.

ONE: Don't tell your parents, but talk to your sister (in a casual sister-sister way) and first of all make sure it was in fact s*x, and they weren't just passionately making out... lol.  And then try to convince her to tell your parents herself. If she doesn't want to, than so be it. Its technically her business. Although if you see her doing it again, than you might want to consider telling your parents. But keep in mind that you don't want to ruin the trust you have with her.

TWO: Tell your parents that you saw her and her boyfriend in her bed. And im sure once you say that your parents hear that, they will understand what happened. but tell them to keep your name out of it somehow.

Don't worry! Calm down and i think you tell at least the adult of the family. Sure your sister will be mad at you but one day when she's all grown up and is an adult she'll thank you for not being someone who will be living in the trailer park with a bad man who doesn't treat her well properly.
