  1. There are several common mistakes. The squeak is caused by high frequency vibration (usually the pads).  I've been doing brakes for 25 years and I always spray a sticky substance like CRC Disk Brake Quiet liberally on the pad backing plates and let it dry.  I make sure that the surfaces on the caliper that contact the pads are perfectly clean and clean and lube the caliper mounting hardware (sliders) with synthetic caliper lube.  My brake jobs NEVER come back because of squeaks, ever.  Good luck

  2.   Cheap pads I learned that the hard way too.

  3. wheel bearing or cv joint

  4. cheap pads. didnt turn rotors. didnt lube hardware. didnt adjust rear brakes. didnt torque wheels properly. what kind of car is it and what year.

  5. if you didn't have the rotors turned on it ,it will do this for a while until the new pads seat in to the rotors ,if they was turned give it a few days for everything to seat down evenly,if they still do it will probably be in the quality of the pads, cheaper pads will tend to do this, but most will seat in after a few days of use, good luck.

  6. Did you turn the rotors?

When you run the breaks until they need replaced, the rotors get real shiney,,,,,they are glazed.  They need to be turned, when you replace the pads.
