Okay i'm going to the 7th grade. But on the 6th grade math taks i didnt understand a question. It was like a circle w/ a bunch of numbers in them. And you had to try to figure out another number that could fit into the circle w/ the other numbers..But i couldnt figure it out so i just circled an answer. But when we went to lunch I told my friend tyler about it and he said that the answer was like A or something(i put c).And I said how do u know?and he was like because the question was relatd to prime and composite and all those numbers were composite and since A)31 is a composiste number A is the answer. So I was like oh c**p!Cuz D was a prime number and so was b and c.

.So the next day we had our Reading Taks which is in the same booklet as the math.So once we were all started I flipped back to page 56 in the math side and changed my answer.

-We arent allowed to discuss the test.

-We arent allowed to open the booklet to another portion of the test while we are supposed to be taking another subject.

-And obviously we arent allowed to cheat.

My results said that I only missed 2 and that I got commended performance. You have to miss 4 or under to get commended.so to be honest I still would've gotten commended performance. And the test consists of 68 questions on math and I only did it to 1.

What should I do?

Nobody knows about this...

  1. don;t worry you would have got the same mark anyway

it sounds like your taking a stupid test anyway they rae just asking for people to cheat

just don't cheat in your next tests and you'l be fine

owning up won't get you anywhere

  2. OK its task not taks i thought?

Anyway just dont tell anyone you did the thing so its done, forget it you will get the mark. Your Friend cheated too by talking about the test!

EDIT: lol i dont live in the US and i thought you were spelling task wrong rofl sorry :D

  3. Don't sweat it.  It can't be undone, and really it wouldn't have made much of a difference.  Just don't cheat next time!

  4. Well it's good to know you have a conscience...  You'll be ok, just don't tell anyone so you don't get in trouble.  Next time, don't do it anymore because once you cheat, it's so easy to cheat again.  Remember this feeling that you have and don't do it anymore, but don't tell anyone you changed your answer on the test because that could get you into really deep trouble.

  5. First:  You feel guilty?  Good.  Hopefully that will prevent you from cheating in the future.  Have you thought about what might have happened to you if you had gotten caught in the act?

Second:  Don't worry about it this time.  One question alone will not make much of a difference on your test score.  The purpose of that test is to make sure that the students are meeting a minimum threshold for mathematical ability.  Apparently you would have surpassed that threshold handily even if you know you had gotten that one question wrong.  Because of the low significance, you will actually cause more problems than it's worth by fessing up.

Third: You think 31 is a composite number?  What are it's factors?  If it is composite, it must have 2, 3 or 5 as a factor . . . and it DOES NOT!  So you probably DID get that question wrong anyways!  ROFLMAONWMP!  (NWMP = nearly wetting my pants)

Fourth: Congratulations on getting such a great score all on your own!  Apparently your score did not benefit in any way from your botched attempt at cheating!

Fifth:  I hope I didn't offend -- please don't think I'm laughing  at you.  I'm laughing at the irony!  You feel so guilty about cheating, yet your cheating was completely ineffective!  Obviously you are no dummy; you got a commendable test score!
