I cheated on my finials how do i convince my teacher to give me a chance to finish it?

honestly, i don't know if you can. you can tell her that you're sorry, but i don't know if it is going to do any good. maybe she could give you another version of the test. at my school (grad school), if you cheat, you get kicked out of the program. it gets worse the further you go along in education.

be like my whole GPA is depending on this grade and if I don't get a good grade in this class my summer would be ruined and make up some trip you going on with you friend that you had plans weeks ago for and say that that would get concealed and you wouldn't get to hang out with anyone for two months. And you will get your license taken away/ permit. work the guilt factor.

I really think your scr**ed. My friend's cellphone rang in the start of our finals and his test got taken away. We didn't even flip the test. Well our teacher is harsh and all. I guess you can ask him for another test if he's willing to. It would be annoying for your teacher to make another test just because you cheated.

Make a case for giving you a second chance.  I doubt the teacher will give you the same final, but you might be able to reach an arrangement.  I hate when students cheat.

We need more info here, dear.  Were you caught cheating while you were taking the exam?  Did he/she take up the final and then just grade what you had done?

Whatever happened, it's VERY unlikely that you can convince anybody to let you  do this.  It would be highly unfair to the other students who studied and did not cheat if the techer allowed you a "second chance."  Cheating on a final exam is pretty bad.  But, you probably have learned this.  Consider it a good lesson and DO NOT CHEAT again.

How would anyone who doesn't know you believe you are a good student right after you told us the only thing we know about you that's objective, that you cheated? I would make a very strong case for why you deserve a second chance (DO you?) and ask for a harder test than everyone else got. This will show your teacher you're trying to say you're sorry.

I really hope you don't cheat if he/she gives you a makeup test!

I am an ok student and I cheated on 2 of my finals.All A's baby. I go to school in Florida so that helps.That and my teacher loves me. I guess you can offer him or her some service. If not then have a good day.

Trust is something you earn.

I doubt that teacher trusts you anymore, so convincing is going to be difficult. You would do well to make a presentation for the teacher about your new understanding of the consequences of cheating, and the ultimate good that can come from you getting the chance to finish the finals.

Go to your teacher and ask for forgiveness.  Say how you studied really hard for it but were nervous and tempted.  Make it really honest and serious.  If you teacher is kind hearted s/he will allow a retake

You don't deserve a chance, you should retake the course (s) and retake the finals. By letting you have a second chance now, it teaches you absolutely nothing.

Explain why you cheated and say you're really sorry. Bringing in a signed note from your parents saying that you explained it to them to might help, i did that once when I forged a signature and it worked.

sorry no good reason.  When I catch a student cheating they immediate fail the course, even if they had A's up to that point.  (college prof)

do you mean you cheated and got busted? then the teacher took the test away?

or do you mean that you want to re-do it?
