I chipped a piece of ceramic floor tile and need to repair/fix.... Any suggestions would be appreciated.?

  1. Pop that square of tile out. Clean out the loose grout. Put tile adhesive in the opening. Place a new tile in there.

    Work grout into the openings around the edges, and use a wet sponge to make it even.

    Allow to dry.

  2. Its not an easy thing to do. When you try to chisel out the old tile you will automaticly chip one of the adjacent tiles. To do it and not chip other tiles get a side grinder and put in a diamond wheel and scour out the inter parts of the tile. Then with a chisel chip from outside towards the inner. Easy now. You will also have to maybe chip out a little of the base to get the tile down level with the existing floor. Apply thinset and grout.
