  1. I had my tooth chipped and didnt keep the piece, they just used an ultrastrong material that they mould into the chip and let it dry a bit then grind it down with a small sanding drill, it sounds so bad but you cant feel a thing because its not touching any nerves.

My teeth ended up looking nicer than before it was chipped after it was done :)

  2. If this is something that scares  you boy have you led a sheltered

life! They put a white filling in the chip and shape it. IT will look exactly the same. Have you ever considered that you are too concerned with your looks? Maybe it is time to get over yourself.

  3. It is pretty simple, the dentist will just match your tooth with a dental material called a composite and bond that to your tooth, you won't be able to tell what is tooth and what is composite.  Since it was just a small piece of tooth you probably won't even have to be numbed.

  4. The same thing happened to my daughter in a skating accident.  We were able to find the piece of tooth that chipped off, her dentist glued it and it has lasted ten years.  She broke it again recently biting the plastic on a lid of bottled water.  She saved the chipped portion and the same dentist glued it for her again.

If you can't find the piece that chipped off, the dentist can make it for you in a dental lab.  They match up the colour and everything so that only you will notice that your tooth has been damaged and fixed.  Don't delay seeing your dentist though, make an appointment right away.
