Rasmus Elm has revealed that his friendship with Pontus Wernbloom was one of the factors that forced him to make a move to Russian Premier League this summer

Elm insisted that he is happy to be a part of the club that has achieved European trophies in the past. He went on to admit that the club’s European reputation played a key role in making his mind over his potential move to Moscow.
The 24-year-old confirmed that Liverpool had also shown an interest in signing him. However, they did not make a formal offer.
