i cleaned my coins in white vinegar are they now unbuyable

i know they are worth less

  2. the answer is yes, the vinegar though diluted still is an acid and it ate some of the metal off and unless you put the coins right away into baking soda, it still is eating the coin. Unless the coins are really rare they have lost a lot of value and may not be collectible anymore. One does not clean coins period. If need be, a person needs to see someone that knows what they are doing, and what they can not do. Grease and glue plus PVC green goop can be safely removed if one knows how.
