Question:

I clipped my Budgie's wings & he was battling with the scissor & the tip of the shell of his beak is chipped!

NO BLOOD CAME OUT AT ALL. NOT FROM THE FEATHERS OR THE BEAK!

  1. Its fine just have the beak filed down so its not sharp.

    Please be careful when when clipping the wings, if you clip a blood feather they can bleed alots, its like a vein. Have someone hold while you do it.


  2. I have a budggie and a parrot., You did NOT hurt him.. He's just upset.. His beak will grow back, think of it like a finger or toe nail.. You can make up to him by playing with him.. Talking, singing to him whatever it is you do to make him happy.. he'll be fine in a couple days,, Clipping the wings is a good thing, It protects him from hurting himself. especially if he likes to fly.. He'll be fine.
