  1. yea id say youre just a bit off. most bikers probly dont know much about clogging

  2. I've never tried to clog while on my bike, sounds fun.

Do you need a helmet for aggressive clogging? LOL

Think your in the wrong section.

  3. You go through shoes every 2 years?

If I went through shoes every two years I'd easily spend 1k on shoes.

  4. unless your straps are worn (and if you've got higher-end shoes like sidi, even those are replaceable), why would you need new shoes? are you sure your cleats aren't worn? as far as brands that last, I've had my shimano MTB shoes for about 6 years, and my nike road shoes for 4..

  5. I've had some aggressive clogs, but Drain-O fixed it. Just pour it in there and whatever hair or other gunk will just go right down. I don't know if it will take care of shoes though -- how'd you get that stuck in your drain?

  6. Brilliant question Clarissa.  Also, very clever of you to post in the bicycling section.

Now for the answer: You should get new shoes every odd numbered leap year.
