I colored my hair last night and it's really shiny, how can I keep it shiny AND preserve the color?

i died it Burgundy last night and its really shiny, i want to keep it shiny but my shampoo/condition wont do that...any suggestions?

once a week i get one banana one avacodo and two teaspoons of olive oil put it in a food processor put it in my hair for an hour and man my hair is soft and shiny for a week

Get a clear hair glaze (they also sell glaze for certain colors like i know there are ones for redheads brunettes and blonds, but the clear is what really makes a nice shine). You can buy this at any drugstore in the hair dye isle. I know that Clairol has one that's called Shine Happy, and i think John Fredia has some glazes as well.

alright, for keeping the color, you can buy certain shampoo's and conditioners at the store. for keeping it shiny, every time you wash your hair, rinse the conditioner and shampoo out with cold water.

Maybe get some shine spray from any shop. Also if you put prod oxide in it the same co lour as your hair then that will keep it in good condition and keep it staying SHINY!
