I come from a poor family. i saved 500 dollars.should i buy a ipod touch,a laptop or use the money for college

Well the best "investment" for long term would either be for college or a vehicle (assuming you need one). Other wise, the laptop would be best, then you would have one for college.

I was gonna say get da laptop first cuz der r many scholarship nad loan oppertunities  and working off payments durin college. Plus a laptop will be real helpful durin college.

But one cant rely only on scholarships,loans nd wroki: u'll need da money 4 college. Plus ure parents cant do it all on their own. College is xpensive. I was thinkin myself shuld i save $$ to buy myself a new Ipod cuz it was stolen but it can wait cuz ders alot mor important stuff.

So once u get 2 college u can den also work on savin money 4 da laptop which can also hold music so da wait 4 an ipod can be a lil easier.Den once u get da laptop, u can den save up 4 am ipod.

Since you have money for college, buy a laptop to make doing your school work easier. Sounds the most sensible and you can listen to music on there. After all, you need a computer to download songs onto an iPod anyways.

you say that you have money for college..... if so, then buy the laptop, which you will need for college. But don't buy it too far in advance if you're not college-bound soon. Save the money, add to it, then buy during the Winter sales or summer sales a few months before you go off to college. Good luck to you- you sound like a great kid!

Use it for college. If you buy an iPod you will regret it in the near future since you say your poor. Not because iPods and laptops suck but because college is more important than that. You will have more money in the future if you go to college, but with an iPod you will only have music that will get you no where. Think of it like this: Have fun now and suffer the consequences later, or suffer now and have the rest of your life to enjoy.
