  1. Now you have no choice other than applying for skilled migration process because you are married with kids

you may get additional points for showing your mom reference as blood relationship

  2. Australia is very open to migrants. And it will be to your advantage to have such a high degree of education as well as a family member residing there.

what you can do is contact or visit the Australian Embassy in your country. They are very accommodating. or check out this site for some background info: http://www.australia.gov.au/Migrants

  3. dogs are rare?  lmao   just about every household has at least i dog!

anyway as to your question, you would have to apply to immigrate and pass a points test. As you are married i don't think your mum can sponsor you but check out this web site it has all the info

    http://www.immi.gov.au/index.htm

  4. There is at least a one year waiting period to get citizenship. Also, leaving the USA is a drawn out bunch of paperwork. Airline tickets are outrageous, with gas prices as they are. I have a friend who moved there and got married and she loves it.

I checked in to it because I was thinking of going there. Also, if you have a dog, it will be quarantined for months. Dogs are rare and expensive there. And if you like turkey, it is really expensive there. So are Cigarettes unless you get them bootleg. Universal Health Care sounds pretty good though. You pay like $15 co-pay.

My closing thought... Australians talk English, but they talk so fast it is very hard for Americans to understand them. And they eat things out of the ocean that are Bugs!

Amazing what you can learn from chatting and reading on the web

  5. Sandra...your crazy...or as we say here in Australia...few roo's loose in the top paddock! dogs are rare? lmfao you have no clue coz u dont come from Aus and u never lived here. dogs are rare........wtf?
