I conected the yellow wire from a car sterio to the ground wire of my car acedentand i heard like a pop?

did i break my new sterio or just the fuse please help

The Yellow wire is supposed to be connected to constant power (+).

so when did they change ground to yellow and not black....fuse woul dbe the easy thing to check and hope you didnt fry the new system

Hopefully it's just a fuse. But, You could have cooked the stereo.

Definitely check the fuses and try again.

It probably was a fuse unless you saw sparking or smoke coming from the stereo.

ya a fuse but the yellow needs to be with your power
