I confused about the depo shot.?

I was on the depo shot for about 8 months. I got off of it about 4 1/2 months ago. and i still haven't had a period or any blood. Whats going on?

Everyone is different.  Your peroid may come tomorrow or next year, there's no way to tell.

I was on the depo shot a long time ago for a few years and when i stopped i didn't start my period for a year...maybe a bit longer. My doctor told me that was normal, that its different for everyone.

This shot is known for this. It is very common for a person not to get their period for several months after stopping the drug. It is also harder to get pregnant for the first year after stopping the drug. If you want your period to start go to your OBGYN and they can give you something to make it start.
