put a hub between them and your ip problem will be sloved because both are fighting over same ip address

Hi. It would appear that both devices have the same IP address so I would guess that you are not connected to a network of any sort. Did you enter an IP address in the X-Box Dashboard and did you then enter the same IP address in your PC networking - or vice versa. Either way, they both have the same address.

Go in to the dashboard of your 360 and look at the IP address. It will look something like this like this - 192.168.0.1 - all you need to do is change the last digit and increase it by one - provided the last number is not 255, in which case you need to decrease it by one to 254. Hopefully that should sort your problem.
