I consider him a best friend but he doesn't consider me one...?

There is a guy who i tell all my secrets to, confide to , and just LOVE so much becuz he makes me feel special. ANd yeah...we argue and make up a lot..and we have special nicknames for each other. We see each other as bro and sis. I consider him to be one of my best friends, but i don't think that he sees me that way and it hurts. He is outgoing and has a LOT of other friends and i'm kinda shy and have a tight few close friends. How do i deal with this hurt? Or how do i make him see me as a bestie?
