Title says it all, I think all the time I spent on the computer and tv my eyes cannot focus on a tvs subtitles (half inch to 1 inch words) 10 feet away from me. I can read it but it isn't that clear. I got my sisters glasses and everything was so clear I was amazed. If I eat a ton of carrots can I get better eyes? Iam 15

  1. I notice smilar problem. If i am on too long mt eyes seem to get very dry and sting. Try looking away several times while doing your tasks, that helps me. I am far-sighted too. I wear glasses for distance, so I went to the $ store ane bought some reading glasses, all they do is magnify, not a true prescription tho. They work for me, no squinting!I use them for sitting at thePC ,not for TV.

  2. staring at a computer is not going to help,  try some over the counter moisture drops(Systane, Refresh) because the more u stare at the computer the drier your eyes get because you dont blink as much. your cornea need to be lubricated to see better.  another reason is that the ciliary  muscles get tired of focusing, take breaks throughout the day.

  3. Carrots are good for your eyes but they won't make your vision better in this case.  If it's a problem you want fixed, tell your parents you think you need your eyes checked and explain to the doctor.  You may just need glasses part time if you are interested in getting some.
