I converted a .AVI video to .MPEG and i get these results....

Question

heres a screenshot of what the video in .AVI format look like:

as you can see it looks nice

after i converted to .MPEG format it looks like this (look on botton right of the screen):

you can see it looks all rainbowy and it looks nasty.

does anyone know what the problem is??

maybe the converter you use have a little problem, if it isn't working, you can try another video converter to convert avi to mpeg, then compare their output result, if you need, you can free download them here

You could convert your .avi video to .mp4 video or mp4 avc video using a high video bitrate. And also, you could try another video converter software, I have been using Movavi Video Converter, it conversion quality is very good and has fast conversion speed.
