I eat half frozen hotdogs in the summer. I used frozen hotdogs as teethers for my children when they were small.

I wouldn't eat hot dogs ..period, hot or cold. I saw a recent documentary on foxtel of that show "You are what you eat"...really horrid stuff. They are full of the worst meat you can imagine including, but not limited to, pigs ears (complete with hair), pig noses (complete with hair), animals carcases etc. They are will make you sick eventually if you keep eating them e.g. clog your arteries. No nutritional value at all.

As sickening as it sounds, the kids I babysit like live on cold hotdogs!  They never get sick.  I'd imagine it's just like deli meat only processed and all that.

hotdogs are fully cooked when you buy them unless you purchase them from a butcher. They are gross cold but you will be fine

Hot dogs are already precooked before packaging. So unless there was already mold or bacteria in the package before you began to heat the hot dog, there's a possibility that you could get sick. But if not, then no you will not get sick! You can eat a hot dog completely cold if you wanted to.

No. I have known people to eat cold hot dogs (disgusting!) and they didn't get sick. It's probably from all the preservatives in them that one can't pronounce. I think you're good.
