I copied and pasted a pic from word onto mydesktop...?

Question

when i pasted it a box showed up asking if i approve it for active desktop or something, and i said yes. the picture was pasted, but now all my text on my icons have a white background. it's just annoying. how do i fix it

RIGHT CLICK ON  DESKTOP MAIN SCREEN

CLICK PROPERTIES

CLICK DESK TOP

SELECT NEW BACKGROUND

PRESS OK

OR

GO TO CONTROL PANEL

CLICK    SYSTEM

CLICK   ADVANCED

UNDER PERFORMANCE CLICK  SETTINGS

CLICK

LET WINDOWS CHOOSE WHAT'S BEST FOR MY COMPUTER

CLICK

OK

OK.
