Okay, so about a month ago, the night after father's day I think. Someone broke into my dad's car in the driveway, his c**p is worth nothing so they took nothing, but they smashed the window with a crowbar and F'd up the door. This has started to happen around the neighborhood. My dad suggests we get infrared cameras to put right in side the garage window. Do these work and if so, they expensive?

\A funny story about this:

The next morning the 5-0 (cops, po-po, men in blue) showed up at my front door to question me and I could tell he totally thought I know who did it (I'm big and maybe intimidating at times but I use it for good not evil). And he goes "you got many enemies at school young man?"

"No, not really"

"So you don't have many friends?"

"Yeah, I do"

"In a GANG?!"

"No, sir"

He showed up to the house down the street after the same thing happened to them and I hope he saw me laughing when I walked by

Idk if this was funny to you but I thought I'd share it

  1. Infared won't do you any good seeing as they just detect heat sources and outline said source...however, some flood lights and outdoor cameras from walmart or radio-shack might be able to help!  Also, car alarms work pretty well too, and typically would run cheaper than any camera or security system.

  2. Here are some prices for the camera

hope it helps but a car alarm would work well to here's a website for car alarms prices
