The former centre forward of the Premier League outfit, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, has stated his opinion on the current attack of Juventus, and claimed that no one is world class.
The attacking woes of the Turin giants have been highlighted since last year, as their leading goal scorer was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Matri-c4733 with a total of ten goals to his name in the Serie A. For a striker to only muster up such a number is well below par, especially
when you see the leading goal scorer of the Italian Championship was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 with 28 goals in the Lega.
Despite the goals of Ibrahimovic, the Rossoneri were not able to win the Scudetto, as Juventus had far more goal scorers then the Rossoneri, and their goals came from the midfield as well. Andrea Pirlo had the highest number of assists in the Lega; and along
with Claudio Marchisio and Arturo Vidal scored plenty of goals for the Bianconeri giants.
This seems to be the same case for the Old Lady as they are the highest goal scorers of the Serie A, but their goals have come from the midfield, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Pogba joining in the goal scoring action.
The former Juventus player was critical of their attack and stated that they need to rise to the occasion and prove their worth, and remarked:
“Juventus’ issues in attack revolve around the fact that their forwards are all on the same level. Nobody has illustrated that they are world class and that is why boss Antonio Conte rotates them in the way he does. The side can benefit from that ploy as
a result, but the individual players certainly won’t. It is hard to choose which pairing to go with, because there is not one which you can say is the strongest.”
The striker with the most number of goals for the Bianconeri has been Giovinco who has scored four times in the 12 matches he has played in the Italian championship. This pales in comparison to the effort put in by Stephan El Shaarawy of Milan who has scored
10 goals in 12 matches for the Rossoneri, including a brace against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 over the 13th match day of the season.
