I created a mud bed for a shower floor with portland - it shrunk. I put thin set/adimx it shrunk, help?

Yes you can add more thinset and try again.  There are different grades of thinset.  The premium version has a polymer additive which is a latex additive to the cement for bonding qualities.  I have never heard of this cement shrinking. What you probably could use is a fast-drying thinset.  You will not find this in a local hardware store. The fast-drying thinset would be sold from a Tile Store or some outlet that specializes in Flooring.

  3. TRY THIS.  MORE THINSET UNTIL IT IS SMOOTH AND THEN EPOXY IT WITH A LITTLE BIT OF SAND SPRINKLED ON IT SO YOU DON'T SLIP.
