Is it legal to post the songs? It’s my voice that is used but it’s not a song I wrote. The site is just for people to listen to the songs, not to buy or for commercial use. Is there a place to check if the rights to the songs are common property? And if they are would that make it legal if it’s not already?? Please help! I don't want to do anything Illegal. Any good sites that deal with laws pertaining to music that might be useful?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

  1. i wouldn't even bother it sounds lame.

  2. Depends what you mean by "classical".

17th century opera?  Perfectly legal. "Classic Rock" from the 70's?  Violation of copyright.
