I created the "fake virus" shown on youtube, shutdown command, now friends pc will not turn on. can i fix?

On youtube, "fake virus", it shows viewer how to create a new shortcut on desktop, and then typing in command ;

shutdown -s -t 5 -c "HAHA this could have been a real virus"

then renamed it to an appealing file, compressed it, and sent to my friend, now her pc will not even turn on...what did i do??please help if you can explain what i did and how to fix.

This "Fake" Virus, Was a real one. Next time, research vids like those before you use them. You will need a new computer

Well, dont listen to the person that said "you need a new computer & its a real virus". Its not a real virus. It could have been a coincedence that her computer happened to get messed up at the same day as she recieved your email with the attatchment. I do it all the time, and nothing bad happens. Its hard to sit here and theorize ideas, but something must have messed up on her computer.

This command shouldnt do anything other than a regular shutdown.

-s            stands for shutdown without poweroff

-t 5          stands for Countdown of 5 seconds until the shutdown

-c            stands for comment

Keep pressing on the power button for several seconds until you hear no noise from the laptop. Then press on the power button for a few secs. It should come up.

That little script will do nothing other than shutdown the computer automatically once, I run a similar batch file myself whenever I want to shutdown at a specific time (i.e. 2 hours after I started to download something). If your friend's computer won't start it is an unrelated problem, don't get suckered into fixing it.  And stop being mischievous, see what it gets you?

Well for this problem, you MIGHT have accidentaly changed some hardwired registry commands. Bottom line never do those kinds of tricks if you don't want to have some problems. Solution, try pressing the power button till it starts, if not working, go get some professional help or the vendor.
