most countries accept passporte with more than 6monthsexpiry frm arrival 10 yr not heard of

i think it depends on the expiry date? if it expires in less than 6 months then it may be worth renewing it. but check first

Who say so?

Passports need to be valid for a minimum of 3 months from date of arrival. That's it.
