I cut a french door to much on the door k**b side. 3" from edge to glass. Is there a short barrel k**b?

Can only find door k***s with a 2 3/8-2 3/4 barrel. I only have 3" to work with on my french door before I hit glass. Do they have k***s that can be closer to the door edge? Is there another kind of knobI can use?

there are many ways to do this, depending on where the doors are located, and what type of passage configuration you want.

if these are interior doors, you could use "dummy" handles which do not go thru the stile of the door with ball catches at the top to hold the doors in the jamb. if you can have one of the doors fixed, 2 flush bolts are installed in the edge of the door, and a slidebolt slides into the head jamb and the floor.
