I cut my legs and I'm worried what girls in the locker room will think...?

What do I do if they ask?

I know, I'm trying to stop, cutting is bad. But I know some idiot girls who would be rude enough to ask why scars are there.

What am I supposed to tell them?

If you want, make up a fun story about you and your (old friend, cousin, etc.) running away from something and having to rush through pricker bushes, and the scabs didnt heal right and left scars. Idk- just a suggestion...

You could use foundation to cover the scars up.

Make up a story about when you were younger you did something and now you have scars.

I know how you fell with cutting as i do it too, but people have found out about it and they are cool. They want me to stop. :) So maybe they will want you to stop too.

My son used to cut himself, once enough to get stitches.  He did it into his 20s, but he got married, and has really grown up.  

Get some help.  Talk to your folks.  Make an appointment with your doctor, confide in  the school counselor or psychologist.  Talk to your minister.  There's an adult out there you trust who wants to help you...you just have to ask.
