I cut myself and i'm bleeding really badly -how do i stop it?

HELP!

I'm really scared! I've cut myself with a kitchen knife across my inner arm and i'm bleeding alot more than i expected. i've bandaged it up with loo roll but the blood keeps seeping through. i'm home alone, can anyone tell me how to stop the bleeding? I'm really scared i don't want do die!! just please can someone help me? how do i numb the pain?
