I cut the side of my foot and it's swollen ?

Need Help. I cut the side of my foot in the lake while on vacation. It is sore,swollen I have soaked it. I don't know if it's chipped or not. No pus or nothing like that

if it looks infected than see a doctor because there is a lot of germs in the lake as you know and keep applying ice its probably because you have a minor damage to the bone and try not to walk on it. GOOD LUCK!!!!

If it is swollen it may be infected.  Depending on what you cut it on you may need a tetanus shot.  I wouldn't take any chances with that, you should see a doctor.

In the meantime, pour hydrogen peroxide on it to kill any germs.
