  1. i don't know the name, it's a blue book, and i read it around 1997. it was the only book that i could find that addressed the issue of why adoptive parents who enter into "open adoptions" and why and how they will systematically cut the first mom out of the childs life. usually by the age of 4. most did it almost immediately after the papers were signed. they would make up accusations against the first mom to justify what they did. i never understood how my "friends" could turn on me. i was only seeing her occassionly, but it was enough to make me feel as ok as one could possibly feel after all the brainwashing cr@p i endured.. when they did what they did, it destroyed me, as i am sure they will systematically destroy my child, because they will have to be lying to her and one day she will find out. i have another child and one day she will hear the other side of the story. if not from me, from my child. sorry, i think i'm venting.

i am using my mate's account, i'm not a guy.

  2. have you read "20 life transforming choices an adoptee needs to make"( in think that is the title) If you read it then you know the book.  A sherri elridge wrote it and another book about"20 things adoptive childern wish their adoptive parents knew".  I guess i took you up on your dare. not meaning to offend you. Oh, she also heads up an organization called Jewels among Jewels.
