  1. Training for a large corporation.  My husband opened new stores for a large retail chain.

  2. What ever subject you were teaching was to prepare students to enter some field....now its your turn to enter the field, you'll be one up on everybody.

  3. You could get your administrative degree, but if you haven't been teaching very long, you really wouldn't be in a good position to be an administrator if you didn't know what was going on "below" you!  Oh, and it's "are" there any other options, not "is"

  4. It all depends on what your certification is in.  If it is language arts, look into journalism.  If it is foreign language, you could be a translator at a hospital.  These are just examples.  You chose your area of certification because you enjoy that area more than likely...just expand that interest and see what is out there.  Good luck!!!

  5. you can join any company dealing with educational products, maybe work for the board of ed for the govt, write text books.

  6. Are you interested in school administration?  They get paid more than teachers to come up with crazy ideas that don't work in the classroom.

  7. You have a college degree and that's always a good thing.  It can't hurt to put your resume out there and see if you can find another job.  There is no sense living your life with a job you hate.  Life is too short for that!

    Good Luck!
